TOM BICKLEY was among the first group to receive the Certificate in Deep Listening from Pauline Oliveros, IONE, and Heloise Gold in 1998. He composes, plays and teaches recorder, performs with Ode Machines, Gusty Winds May Exist, Dream Down Duvet and Three Trapped Tigers, co-founded and directs the Cornelius Cardew Choir, and is on the Library Faculty (music, philosophy, & politi-cal science) at California State University East Bay, and the music faculty of the Bay Area Center for Waldorf Teacher Training.
