Thor was composed using a modular analogue elec-tronic array where live feedback loops are processed and shaped into a piece of music. The name of the instrument is called the “Tudor Table,” whose name is inspired by David Tudor, a long time collaborator and friend of Pauline Oliveros. The title Thor is taken from the name I was given at the Deep Listening retreat I attended with Pauline and IONE in 2000.
