Meridians began as a visual still score called Dreaming in the Womb, commissioned by Ione, curator of the Dream Festival and Meet the Composer, and premiered at Deep Listening Space with Anne Bourne, Stephen Vitiello, Monique Buzzarte and Pauline Oliveros in 1998. The animation of the original score is by Elysha Poirier. The sound is performed on cello by Anne Bourne. Recorded by Garnet Willis.
