A List of 85 Sounds for Pauline guides the performer into noting specific sounds and creating acoustic processing of the speaking of those sounds. The idea of this acoustic processing is inspired by both Pauline’s early use of physical objects (e.g., cardboard tubes) to process sounds for electronic music, and composer/performer/Deep Listener Viv Corringham’s use of small objects to modify playback of sound.
