Percussionist, pianist, and composer ERIN DONOVAN presents multi-media events for alternative spaces with her organization, Hear Here Production (hearhereproductions.ca). A collaboration with Mocean Dance and the Osprey Arts Center, her most recent work is entitled Burnwater: Alchemy, and is an interactive sound environment with live performance and opened in Shelburne, NS in 2016. In a co-production with the Banff Centre and Parks Canada, Hear Here presented Two Jack Wish at Two Jack Lake in Banff and The Bankhead Project, a large-scale site-specific event at Lower Bankhead, a ghost town just outside of Banff. She has performed as a freelance percussionist with Symphony Nova Scotia, the Calgary Philharmonic, the Canadian Opera Company, Continuum New Music, The Banff Centre, Gamelan Toronto, Evergreen Club Gamelan, the Glass Orchestra, Array Music and her newly formed percussion trio Saltwater Percussion. Erin lives in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia.
