SCORE: Pauline Oliveros in her 85th Year

CHRISTIAN WOLFF has known Pauline since the 1960s, and since then they kept meeting over spans of time, several times playing music together. In 1986 he wrote about her “Getting Your Rocks Off” [re: “Teach Your-self To Fly”] sonic meditation in an essay called “Open to Whom and to What?,” which will be available again in his book Occasional Pieces, due out in January, 2017 (Oxford University Press).
